Wuqiang New Year prints originated at the mid of 15th century, reached to its heyday at the 18th century, when there were hundreds of shops operated. On the mid autumn festive, the paintings were hanged along the hustling market; some are human figures, fairy tales, celebration words, local customs, flowers and mountains. The paintings are for chronology, the door, window, spring festive couplets, screen, and mid of guest hall, symbolizing the auspicious meanings.
