Pouch, named “trick ” by Qingyang local, which shared the long history of Qingyang calendar, having rich cultural deposits and folk meanings. It features awkwardness, simplicity and wilderness, with wild and cheerful depositions of its countryman and strong national spirits. The annual dragon boat festival is the exhibition of art of folk pouches.

       The pouch nowadays has gradually shifted to meet temporary needs, in the days of highly developed science and technology serving the society, Qingyang local pouch has become a valued present sent to places around China and world as well. Qingyang local pouch has also been served as the link for cultural communications and serving of economic, cultural and moral construction. As the opening policy is being fully executed, Qingyang pouch won great popularities among foreign friends. The fifth national folk arts and crafts in 1988 was held in Xifeng, upon the 40^th anniversaries of foundations in 1989, a national 2^nd art festival was held in Beijing, in 1986, the president of Sino-french friendly association Geliam paid a visit to the master of folk art Qi xiumei, and made a deep understanding of folk art in this region, which expanded a wider space for the development of Qingyang pouch.
