The exhibition of intangible cultural heritages in Xinjiang China
The 2007 silk road international clothing and apparel festival was cosponsored in Urumqi of Xinjiang Urygur autonomous region from July 6- 10 2007 by China Committee for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), China Textiles Association (CTA), China Apparel Association (CAA) and municipal government of Urumqi. The exhibition of China intangible cultural heritages held by enterprises and governments affiliated with China national culture promotion association and Beijing Century99 International Investment Co., Ltd. (BCIIC) clicked on the same day.
Named as “ambassador to the invitation of foreign investments ” by municipal government of Urumqi in 2005, BCIIC strengthened the bilateral cooperation partnership with local government of Urumqi and promoted the development of China’s intangible cultural heritages. The aim of the exhibition of China intangible cultural heritages is for enriching the cultural activities, popularizing the relevant knowledge, enhancing the pride of national culture, improving the awareness of protection of intangible cultural heritages and pushing forward its protection, which is a drive for safeguarding the treasured China’s heritages.

The exhibition of China intangible cultural heritages—Urumqi
For the two day exhibition of China’s intangible cultural heritages in Urumqi, 518 the intangible cultural heritages released by the state council in first list displayed are for publicizing, which presents the national rich resources and promotes the fruitful result of China’s intangible cultural heritages. The exhibition takes the large board as main publicizing tools, aided with small live performance of intangible cultural heritages selected by provinces and cities, and making by traditional craftsmen on site, plus handmade special arts and crafts featuring Xinjiang and China’s folk crafts, namely paper cutting, wood block new year prints, presenting a fascinating visual feast for viewers. As for the profound cultural deposits of China, which should be transmitted by each descendant of the nation.
