Zhu maofu, 56 years old, painter, came to Beijing in 2004 and set up a hand-painted cloths shop in the 7^th floor of Souxiu. Zhu maofu was painting a dragon on 3 meters long and 2.4 meters wide black cloth outside a craft shop in lotus market shishahai Beijing on 6^th July 2007. The rich colored, bright eyes that seemed to spur out fire dragon attracted many audiences. The hand-painted T-shirts, jeans and vests are hanging on the wall of his shop featured more about dragon, phoenix, pony and animals and plants with typical Chinese cultures. Zhu maofu started learning art , national painting, oil painting, sculpture since he was young, he is specialized in painting dragons and phoenix. In April 2006, Zhu maofu found a personated embodiment for his “dragon” culture when he starts doing clothing business.   

         He is not restricted to the traditions in designing his hand-painted patterns, which are based on the proto type of dragon, phoenix, kilyn and Guanyin, but modern elements. Take Guanyin as example, Guanyin was once thought as plump, thus Zhu maofu made some changes for being thin is most fashionable nowadays.
