According to the quotation of convention for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage approved by UNESCO on Oct 17 2003, “intangible cultural heritage means the practices, representation, expression, knowledge, skills - as well as the instruments, objects, artifacts and cultural spaces associated therewith - that communities, groups and, in some cases, individuals recognize as part of their cultural heritage.”  Intangible cultural heritage is made up of the following: oral legends and expressions, a. including the language as a medium of carrying on the intangible cultural heritage; b. performing arts; c. custom, ceremony rites and festival events; d. knowledge and practices concerning the nature and the universe; e. traditional craftsmanship.
